teas
Tea is a drink that comes to us from the dried leaves of the "tea tree" shrub. He is originally from the Himalayas, Assam Yunnan and also Myanmar. Tea has been used since ancient times for its medicinal properties and health benefits.
There are several types of teas such as green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, Rooibos and plants (herbal teas), and even mate.
There are several legends concerning the discovery of tea: Chinese legend, Indian legend, Japanese legend. You can find the history of legends by country in our blog here.
The tea is distinguished by two mother varieties such as Camellia sinensis (sinensis) and Camellia sinensis (assamica).
Black tea and green tea come to us from the same tea tree. It is during processing (drying and oxidation) that the varieties take names: black tea, green tea. The green will be less oxidized (a few hours). Black tea will be more oxidized (rolling the leaves to accentuate fermentation).
As green tea is not very oxidized, its leaves then retain catechins: an antioxidant.
It plays an anti-aging role for the skin cells.
Green tea is also known and popular to accompany us in our diet.
Black tea is more oxidized and therefore provides another form of antioxidants called theaflavins from the polyphenol family. Black tea is very popular for its low theine content, as it helps digestion and plays a role in protecting the stomach. It would also reduce stress.
The best teas for sleep are teas that do not contain theine / caffeine: we will talk about all the infused plants such as chamomile, verbena, lime blossom. Rooibos is also a shrub from Africa, known for its sleep-promoting properties because it does not contain theine.
"Detox Bio Organic" tea is an ideal tea for a detox cure, as it promotes digestion, relieves stomach aches and boosts energy intake. In principle, the tea leaves are dried for long-term storage. Storage is thus simple. However, the sachets should be stored in a place protected from light and humidity, so as not to risk absorption of the aromas.
